Best time to visit Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga National Park enjoys tropical climate with extreme rainfall during monsoon season. The Park is closed from 01 May till 31 Oct every year for the visitors, as this time the area is under high alert due to Brahmaputra river floods.   • By Air: Guwahati International Airport and Jorhat Airport, located at the distance of 217 km and 97 km respectively are the two main airports for Kaziranga National Park.
