Satpura has a wild range of vegetation, about 1300 kinds of plants and of 62 variety of tree species, and all this makes the pristine forest picturesque. The Satpura forest is divided into 3 parts which are deciduous forest, dry deciduous and the sub-tropical hilly trees. All these contributes to maintain the eco system of the region.
Majorly the trees found in Satpura are Teak, Sal, Mahua, Tendu, Bel, Bamboo, varied genera of medicinal plants and few species of bushes.

Fauna of Satpura National Park
