3 Days – 2 Nights Tour In Kaziranga National Park
The existence of the Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros, commonly found in Assam, India is the main reason to visit Kaziranga National Park in Assam. The Indian Rhinoceros can run at speeds of up to 25 mph (40 km/h) for short periods of time and is also an excellent swimmer. It has excellent senses of hearing and smell, but relatively poor eyesight. Day 1
- On arrival at Guwahati airport, drive to Kaziranga National Park.
- En-route Visit Kamakhya Temple, a Major Hindu Pilgrimage site.
- Check into a Jungle resort on arrival.
- Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 2
- Early morning (5:30 am) explore central Range of Kaziranga National Park on Elephant Safari.
- On return explore the eastern range on a jeep safari.
- Return for lunch and proceed to Western Range of Kaziranga National Park on jeep.
- Stay overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 3
- Visit a tribal village and Tea Estate or Morning Jeep safari to Kaziranga National Park, check out and proceed for onward journey to Guwahati or Shillong.
